Antique (Victorian) Weimar Celery Dish, Germany
This small, hand painted dish is a lovely collectible. It features an embossed design and delicately hand painted pink roses with a light yellow/green color applied to the edge of the dish.
This was originally known as a celery dish, which was popular among the rich during the Victorian era. It would make a nice relish dish, candy dish, or a jewelry tray.

Size: 7 1/2”w x 4” d x 1 1/8” h
Material: porcelain
Locality/Period: Weimar Co., Weimar Germany, late 19th century
Condition: Good. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing. It has a small fleck of brown on the inside, which I believe is a minor flaw that occurred when piece was made (it is not damage).
Keep in mind that it is a vintage piece, and is preowned. There may be some wear from normal use.
